Plushie 1

This is my first edited video with "final cut pro". I already edited videos with the apps: VivaVideo and I Movie before, but mostly I did slideshows of pictures. As I got told, that I am going to do my first own little movie, I was nervous and excited at the same time. All I got was a camera, my Plushie and myself. But I just didn't think about everything I could do wrong- I just went for it! And I guess that was the best choice I could do. I didn't overthink what I was doing.

I took a lot of differs shots, just to try out different locations, angles, distances and movements. After making this little first movie I can tell you one thing- take as many different shots as possible, so you have a lot of different shots to play around with on the cutting app.

As more clips you have, the easier it is to create an interesting movie, that you actually like.

To be honest I actually like my little movie, and I am proud of myself, of course this movie isn't perfect. The clips are shaky and do not always have a good focus, but I actually really like the lightening and the focus on the eyes of my Plushie. Over all you can see that I tried different things out, not only while recording the clips, also during cutting them. Making this little movie was already so much fun, it helped me especially to get more comfortable with using "final cut pro". I can't put it into words how excited I am to make more movies. Thank you- for this amazing opportunity!

Plushie 2

That is my second video that I have edited with "final cut pro".

What I really like about that video is the topic, the massage of this video is how important it is to love yourself, and how much it changes you- in a positive way- when you accept and love yourself. I loved to play with the angles while filming the mirror scene. I also think that the sad music in the beginning, strengthens the fact that the dog is really sad and unhappy. I think that I should improve not to shake that much with my hands, while I am filming. Also the lightening, when my plushie is looking in the mirror should be a bit better.

Over all I really like this little movie, especially because of the powerful meaning, and the different filming angles, locations and movements.
